Accurate descriptions of the vegetation and flora of a site are fundamental to the evaluation of its significance that is required by planning and other procedures and nature conservation organisations. EPR’s expert team of botanists will ensure that botanical survey and reporting is undertaken to the highest standards using the NVC system. We are able to survey not only flowering plants, but also mosses and lichens, and accurately interpret the survey information to provide a base for describing the quality and significance of a site. Our expertise in landscape and historical ecology gives us an insight into the past, present and potential future of the botanical aspects of that area. We also have full mapping and GIS facilities to provide excellent report production capabilities.
