Reptile population flourishes following translocation project at Otterbourne Hill Care Home

Access to nature has tangible benefits for both physical and mental health. EPR is proud to have delivered a biodiversity boost for Otterbourne Hill Care Home, helping residents connect to the environment around them.

EPR designed and implemented reptile habitat enhancements and completed a Slow-worm translocation, enabling nature and local residents to thrive together.

Crucially, 5 years of reptile monitoring surveys have confirmed the steady growth of the Slow-worm population – while the improved habitat now supports new species such as Grass Snake!
