CPD Workshops & Training

Our workshops will help you understand and avoid ecological issues associated with planning and construction. 

They could also count towards CPD for members of professional institutes.

We can cover specific topics or deliver general workshops that cover a wide range of issues.  Some of our recent workshops to planners, developers and Local Planning Authorities have included:

• Biodiversity Net Gain

• Ecology and air quality

• Nutrient neutrality in aquatic habitats

• Habitats Regulations Assessments (including Appropriate Assessments)

• Ecological Impact Assessment

• Protected species (policy, legislation, licensing and programming)

• Habitats and ancient woodland

• Ecological Clerk of Works and wildlife on the construction site

• Ecology in Strategic Environmental Assessment

We are flexible on location and can deliver remotely via Zoom or MS Teams.  We can also come to your office or run the workshop at one of EPR’s offices.  Please note that our capacity for delivering workshops may be limited over the summer months, which are typically our busiest.
